Donetsk, Nov 11 – DAN. Vodafone mobile network is down in the DPR, after a fiber optic cable was damaged between the DPR and the LPR, the DPR Ministry of Communications reported.
"Vodafone is down across the DPR. Preliminary reports say the fiber optic cable was broken between Donetsk and Lugansk."
The location of failure is being detected.
Vodafone operation in the DPR deteriorated in winter last year, as the line failure outside Elenovka caused the loss of Vodafone signal for three and a half months. Its operation was partially restored on April 27. Mobile signal is still patchy. *ot
