Donetsk, Mar 9 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic intelligence has obtained information that Ukrainian forces planted more than 1,700 anti-tank mines in the vicinity of the Pischevik frontline village north of Mariupol, the DPR People’s Militia reported on Tuesday.
“We note the planting of TM-62 anti-tank mines in the amount of 1,770 pieces near the Pischevik settlement (next to Ukraine’s Gnutovo crossing point - eds Donetsk News Agency),” the report said.
The area was mined by servicemen of the Ukrainian army’s 36th Brigade, the DPR militia said.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass in July 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, special operations, engineer works at troops positions and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
