Donetsk, Jul 3 - DAN. Two servicemen were wounded in a shootout between Ukrainian army units on the Gorlovka axis, Donetsk People’s Republic armed forces spokesman Daniil Bezsonov said on Tuesday citing intelligence reports.
“On Monday, the DPR intelligence recorded a strike delivered from positions of the 72nd separate mechanised brigade (Gorlovka axis - eds Donetsk News Agency) at 24th separate mechanised brigade positions. Private Telyuk and Junior Sergeant Antoschuk of the 24th separate mechanised brigade were wounded,” the report said.
Bezsonov said that the shootout might have originally been engineered in order to accuse the DPR militia of violating the ceasefire accord.*jk
