Donetsk, May 5 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire six times over the past 24 hours firing more than 100 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory,  the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire six times expending 104 rounds of ammunition,” the JCCC said.

The enemy used 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

Strikes were delivered at the areas of the Staromikhailovka and Alexandrovka settlements and the Verkhetoretskoye settlement outside Yasinovataya on the Donetsk axis, the JCCC said.

On Monday evening, three children and a man were wounded as Ukrainian army units shelled the Alexandrovka neighbourhood in western Donetsk. The strikes damaged the roofs and walls of the houses at 368a and 366 Gorky Street, the JCCC said.

In Verkhnetoretskoye, a transmission line was damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces. As of now, power to the settlement has been restored.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire ten times firing 120 rounds of ammunition at the DPR.*jk
