Donetsk, May 1 – DAN. Several thousand people joined today's May 1 Parade in Donetsk, DAN correspondent reports.
The parade kicked off from Donetsk Library and is moving to Lenin Square where the May 1 public rally is to take place.
People are displaying a large banner "Our strength is in our unity", others are carrying balloons, flags and flowers.
Whole families are participating in the celebration, as well as representatives of the city administration, trade unions, Donetsk Republic social movement.
The traffic was blocked in Donetsk center so that streets and squares house the rally, which is to start soon.
In 2016 over 10 thousand people participated in the May 1
