Donetsk, May 17 — DAN. Specialists from Buryatia have finished the construction of a ten-kilometer long water duct from the Kipuchaya Krinitsa settlement to the Starobeshevo township in the Donetsk People’s Republic, DPR government chairman Yevgeny Solntsev said on Wednesday.

“The pipes were so worn out that the sponsor region decided to build a new water line, ” Solntsev said. “It was completed in record time, together with the installation of air release and cutoffs valves. Some 40 specialists with 11 pieces of equipment have worked round the clock in the recent time.”

After successful tests, the new line supplied water to Starobeshevo, he added.

The DPR Construction and Utilities Ministry reported that the repairs of the water mains in Torez have been completed. The 11.3-kilometer long line was repaired with the assistance of specialists from Russia’s Primorye Territory, who had disassembled the old network, carried out earthwork and laid new pipes.*jk
