Donetsk, Nov22 – DAN. DPR residents received more than RUB 2 billion worth of social payments this year, the press service of the Labour and Social Policy Ministry told Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“The DPR Labour and Social Ministry funded and drew pay lists worth RUB 2.1 billion ($33 million), with monthly payments averaging RUB 200 million,” the press service said.
Fourteen groups of DPR residents are entitled to social benefits such as humanitarian assistance to families with infants and children up to three years of age, compensation for purchasing solid fuel and annual payments to World War II veterans.
Social payments are regulated by the DPR Head Aleksander Zakharchenko’s decree of 29 April 2015. The value of most payments ranges between RUB 1,000 and RUB 4,400.
