Donetsk, Oct 27 – DAN. The Russian Emergencies Ministry's 57th humanitarian convoy delivered 228 tons of aid to DPR today, including medications and baby formula, the Republic's Emergency Ministry rep said.
"21 trucks arrived in Donetsk, the Russian humanitarian convoy delivered medications and baby formula. The Emergency Ministry accepted 228 tons of aid," the interlocutor said.
The aid includes meat mash, fruit mush, mashed vegetables, juices, baby formula and other goods. The cargo will be handed over to aid distribution centers.
"Emergency and hospital medication will be passed to appropriate institutions as soon as possible," the Health Ministry said.
The previous 56th EMERCOM humanitarian convoy arrived in DPR on September 22nd. Rescuers brought 289 tons of aid including medical equipment and baby formula. Since the first convoy reached Donbass people in August 2014 overall 64 thousand tons of aid were delivered to the Republics.
