Donetsk, Mar 6 — DAN. Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has visited Mariupol to inspect rebuilding works in the city, the Russian Defense Ministry press service reported on Monday.

 Shoigu inspected both ongoing construction works and completed construction sites such as the multi-purpose medical center built by Defense Ministry’s construction workers, the Donetsk People’s Republic rescue center and a new residential neighbourhood.

He expressed his appreciation of the results and thanked the workers for their efforts.

Earlier reports said that Sergey Shoigu had held a briefing with the commanders of the groups of troops involved in the special military operation. He heard their reports on the current situation and plans and addressed the safe accommodation of servicemen in the field, comprehensive supplies to the troops, combat training of the reserve force and military-political work.*jk
