Donetsk, Dec 26 - DAN. More than 600 Donetsk People’s Republic children have taken a sanatorium rehabilitation course in Russia since the launching of an integration programme, acting director of the social organisation “Russian Centre” Yelena Yevseyeva said at a press briefing at the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.

“The Ryazan-based V.Lenin Sanatorium has provided rehabilitation treatment to more than 400 children from the DPR, and more than 200 people have had rehabilitation in the Moscow region since July 2018,” Yevseyeva said.

Thanks to the assistance of Russian social organisations, children of metallurgists, miners, residents of frontline settlements and fallen militiamen and boarding school pupils can visit Russian rehabilitation centres, she said.

In December 2019, more than 200 children took part in New Year events on invitation of colleagues from the Moscow and Bryansk region.

The Russian Centre was set up to promote integration with Russia in the humanitarian, social and cultural areas and develop lasting and stable relationship between social organisations of the DPR and Russian regions. The Centre is headed by DPR leader Denis Pushilin.*jk
