Donetsk, Sep 22 — DAN. Russia’s Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area — Yugra and Sverdlovsk region which have become patrons of the frontline Makeyevka, will repair more than 170 homes and a number of  infrastructure facilities in the town. Some repair projects have already been completed, the press service of Makeyevka’s Town Hall told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.

“The Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area — Yugra plans to restore 80 apartment buildings and 21 social infrastructure facilities including 13 schools, eight kindergartens and the office building of the local education department, ” the Town Hall said.

Earlier this month, works were completed on an apartment building in the Magistralny neighborhood and eight infrastructure facilities such as school No 2, primary school No 5, a high school, secondary schools No 18 and 99 and nursery schools No 19, 26 and 117.

Russia’s Sverdlovsk region plans to repair 94 apartment buildings, two schools, two kindergartens and an office building. It has already renovated nursery schools No 27 and 191, secondary school No 17, specialized boarding school No 36 and a building of the local education department.

Repairs on other facilities are due to be completed by yearend.

Earlier, Russian regions sent relief supplies to Makeyevka including special purpose vehicles, medical equipment, medications and humanitarian aid for schools. The Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area provided recreation facilities for DPR children and treated patients from across the DPR in its hospitals.*jk
