Donetsk, Jul 19 — DAN. Russia’s Federal Agency for Water Resources (Rosvodresursy) will allocate 100 million rubles for repairs of waterworks in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
“The money is intended for engineering surveys and design and cost estimates for works on the Kamyshevakha, Donetsk (DPR), Lutugino, Yanovskoye (LPR), and Berdyansk (Zaporozhye region) water reservoirs, and the Kalanchak river (Kherson region), ” Rosvodresursy’s press service said. “The funding will be provided in 2024-2025.”
Additional financing will expedite the restoration of the waterworks in the new territories. The facilities have long been in use, so specialists will decide on individual range of measures for each to keep them in good condition. “Renovation will extend the service life of the waterworks and enhance their safety, ” Rosvodresursy quoted Don Basin Department Head Yevgeny Dorozhkin as saying.
Earlier reports said that the Donetsk People’s Republic would receive federal budget money for reforestation projects.*jk
