Donetsk, Dec 10 – DAN. Russian Prosecutor General's office has launched a criminal investigation into the shelling incident in Gorlovka injuring a civilian woman.
"Ukrainian army and national guard units opened fire on civilian infrastructure on December 5 knowingly fulfilling a criminal order of unknown officials of the Ukrainian defense ministry targeting Krasnyi Partizan street in Zaitsevo, Gorlovka, self-proclaimed DPR. As the result, an 85-year-old woman, non-participating in the conflict, was injured."
"Ukrainian military have violated the Protocol to End Use of weapon in the south-east of Ukraine and the Memorandum thereof, and a provision of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War and the Part II thereof."
The Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has opened a criminal investigation in a crime under part 1 article 356 of the RF Penal Code (Cruel treatment of prisoners of war or civilians). Investigation is ongoing. *ot
