Donetsk, Jan 13 – DAN. Repair teams have restored power to Donetsk water treatment plant that was cut off on January 11 as a result of Kiev's shelling, water supply company Donbass Water reports.

"Engineers have finished repair works at 35kW power transmission line feeding Donetsk water treatment plant."

Currently power equipment is being turned on.

The plant should be put back into operation tomorrow, January 14.

Donetsk water treatment plant is located between Kiev-occupied Avdeyevka and Yasinovataya, it pumps water to the townships on both sides of the contact line. Donetsk and Yasinovataya, Vasilyevka and Spartak of DPR are dependent on it in the first place, as well as Avdeyevka, Krasnogorovka and Verkhnetoretskoye which are currently occupied by Kiev forces.

On January 11 Kiev shelling  amaged the plant's power line. Russian officers in the JCCC have coordinated with the Ukrainian armed forces reps a ceasefire to allow repairs of power transmission lines feeding Donetsk water treatment plant .

This night Ukraine’s armed forces shelled Debaltsevo, leaving 500 households without power. As of the evening January 13 the power has been restored. *ot
