Donetsk, Apr 15 – DAN. Power supply system of the Petrovsky district in Donetsk has been affected by shelling, the Ministry of Coal and Energy said.
"At 7.05 a.m. a power line was damaged by shrapnel, six substations were shut off, leaving 600 household customers without power."
It took two hours for engineers to stabilize the situation and restore power supply to 500 houses.
The further work is impeded as the destroyed transformer station is located close to the contact line and the equipment cannot reach it is within the fire range of Ukrainian forces.
"The works will have to be coordinated with the Ukrainian side via the JCCC and the OSCE."
Currently, 80 houses in private housing areas and 13 barracks remain without power. *ot
