Donetsk, Aug 28 – DAN. Over 80 thousand people have attended public events to celebrate the Miners' Day and towns' anniversaries across DPR, said the press service of the DPR Ministry of Interior.

"From August 24 till August 27 public events commemorating the Miners' Day and towns' anniversaries took place across DPR.  Over 80 thousand people – DPR residents and guests – attended the events."

The capital's Olimpiyskiy sport center alone housed 27 thousand spectators during the MMA Championship 'United Donbass', while Scherbakov's Park in Donetsk saw 13 thousand people attending various events.

Yesterday, Russian singers and bands, such as Zveroboy, Vadim Stepantsov, Klava Coca, Stanislav Kostyushkin, gave a fabulous concert in the center of DPR capital. Makeyevka, Gorlovka, Shakhtersk and other town traditionally celebrated their anniversaries on the last Sunday of August. *ot
