Over 6,000 children born in DPR in 2017

Donetsk, Jul 10 – DAN. DPR Registry Offices have issued over 6,000 birth certificates since the beginning of the year, said DPR Justice Ministry.

"Since January 1 to July 5, 2017, DPR Registry Offices issued 6,042 birth certificates."

In the same period, 1,682 marriage certificates were issued and 118 name changes registered.

DPR began issuing state certificates in July 2015, the first marriage in the Republic was registered on 29 July in Makeyevka. The PDR Head Alexander Zakharchenko handed the marriage certificate to the newlywed couple himself. Birth certificates are being issued since July 2015 as well.*ot
