Donetsk, Feb 22 – DAN. The establishment of the DPR Civic Chamber is to enhance cooperation of citizens and authorities in tackling acute issues, said the head of the Donetsk Republic social movenent Chairman Denis Pushili's Reception Center in Enakiyevo Irina Stolnikova.
"Today, the members of the Donetsk Republic social movement want to contribute to the Republic's policy at a new level, they want not only to support initiatives, but to take part in their implementation at the law making level. I am sure the Civic Chamber shall provide ground for cooperation of authorities, citizens and public institutions."
Strelnikova said that the social movement has joined people who care about their country and have significant experience in discussions of current issues.
"Public hearings are necessary, as the discussion over our development strategy has showed."
Earlier DPR Head Denis Pushilin announced the establishment of the Civic Chamber to make the dialog between authorities and the society more efficient in terms of settlement of current issues. *ot
