Donetsk, Oct 1 – DAN. Kiev's sabotage and non-fulfilment of the Minsk Agreements, in particular security package, results in human casualties among civilians and innocent children, said DPR acting Foreign Minister representing the DPR in the Contact Group Natalia Nikonorova commenting on the Gorlovka tragedy.
Four children triggered a land mine outside Gorlovka on September 30, three were instantly killed, the fourth boy is being treated in hospital.
"The positions of the sides remain too close to each other. The situation is aggravated by Kiev's derailment of the disengagement in the two pilot areas, where previously the decision had been effected. The move resulted in a complete freezing of the decision on new areas where the disengagement of forces and hardware should be carried out, as well as on the pull back of weapons from the contact line. Meanwhile, the disengagement agreement provides for mandatory mine clearance," she said.
The fulfillment of the Minsk Agreements, Nikonorova said, could help avoiding innocent victims.
"Unfortunately, Ukrainian government that came to power after an armed coup, does not care about children's and civilian lives.
"The dreadful tragedy shocked the Republic. We all grieve it and sympathize with the families."*ot
