Donetsk, Aug 30 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic power engineers assisted by Russian specialists have restored more than 781 kilometers of transmission lines in liberated areas of the DPR, the Republic’s Coal and Energy Ministry said on Tuesday.
“As of the evening of August 29, DPR electric utilities workers together with Russian power engineers had restored more than 781 kilometers of power lines of various voltage levels in the liberated territory, ” the Ministry said.
Fifty-seven electrical substations have repaired to restore power supply to 91 settlements, it added.
More than 6,700 customers remain without electricity in the DPR territory within the borders before the beginning of the special operation. Most facilities in need of repairs are located in the zone of fighting and cannot be accessed at present.*jk
