Donetsk, Aug 14 – DAN. More than 2,250 people entered the DPR through humanitarian corridors at the Elenovka checkpoint since June 22, deputy head of the Donetsk Republic social movement executive committee, coordinator of the Healthy Movement Evgenia Korinets told DAN.
"Since June 22, 2,256 people entered the DPR through the humanitarian corridors at the Elenovka checkpoint, the average number of people using the corridor in one day is 300-450."
The humanitarian corridor opened on Friday for the 13th time since June 22, when the first group of people was allowed across the border. This week, it also opened on August 10, more than 140 people crossed the contact line.
To enter the DPR, travelers must be granted clearance from the anti-coronavirus HQ; for exit they must have a registration in Ukraine.
Travelers entering the Republic are subject to a free of charge 14-day quarantine.
The DPR suspended the operation of crossing points on the contact line in March to prevent the import of the coronavirus infection. *ot
