Donetsk, May 3 - DAN. A militiaman of the Donetsk People’s Republic was wounded over the past 24 hours as Ukrainian army units shelled DPR forces’ positions, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Thursday.
“One serviceman of our armed forces was wounded as a result of strikes delivered by the invaders,” Basurin said.
Head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said that a 56-year-old resident of Elenovka suffered concussion in the May 2 shelling by Ukrainian forces. The strike damaged two apartments in the house at 8 Depovskaya Street, Yakubov said adding that it had been delivered from the Slavnoye village direction at 8:10 p.m.
Earlier reports on Tuesday said that Ukrainian forces fired more than 480 rounds of ammunition at DPR frontline areas over the past 24 hours. *jk
