Donetsk, Apr 12 - DAN. The date of the new prisoner exchange in Donbass fully depends on Ukraine’s actions at the negotiations, Donetsk People’s Republic ombudswoman Darya Morozova told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“As of now, Ukraine has no position on prisoner exchange,” Morozova said. “It’s not possible to predict the date.”
She said that the DPR was ready for the exchange under the All Verified for All Verified formula.
Earlier reports said that the humanitarian subgroup at the meeting in Minsk on April 4 did not fully address the POW exchange issue as Kiev had no clear position.
The Donetsk People’s Republic and Ukraine last exchanged prisoners on December 27, 2017. Ukraine handed over 160 people to Donetsk, and the DPR passed 57 people to Kiev.*jk
