Donetsk, Apr 29 – DAN. The Ukrainian army has violated the ceasefire five times in the past 24 hours, showing a six times reduction in terms of shelling intensity, the DPR mission to the JCCC said.
“Over the past 24 hours the enemy violated the ceasefire five times firing 11 shells,” the report said.
Donetsk airport, Volvo Center, Leninskoye and Sakhanka were targeted with mortars, grenade launchers and small arms of large caliber.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire ten times, firing 65 rounds.
The rounds under 12.7 mm caliber are excluded from daily reports.
A new recommitment to the ceasefire in Donbass has come into force on Friday, 1.01 a.m. GMT +3, after the security working group of the Contact Group had agreed to it on the previous day. At 1.05 a.m. Kiev forces opened 120 mm mortar fire on Alexandrovka, western Donetsk. *ot
