Donetsk, Jan 10 – DAN. Two residential houses having been damaged by Ukrainian forces shelling in the frontline village of Zaitsevo outside Gorlovka; the shelling is ongoing, acting local administration head Ivan Prikhodko told Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“Several impacts were recorded in Zaitsevo overnight. The house in 133 Poletayeva Street took a direct hit, and the house in 80 Rybalko Street sustained shrapnel damage,” Prikhodko said.
The village residents who live closer to the contact line have taken cover in cellars and shelters as Ukrainian forces continue to shell the area.
A ceasefire was agreed by the Contact Group at its meeting on December 21st, in effect from midnight December 24th Kiev time – 1 a.m. December 24th DPR time. *jk
