Donetsk, Jul 6 - DAN. Kiev representatives invented a new method to slow down the preparation for prisoner exchange with the Donbass Republics, DPR ombudswoman Darya Morozova told a news conference at Donetsk News Agency in comments on the humanitarian subgroup talks in Minsk.
Ukrainian representative Irina Geraschenko insists on including some of the persons detained in Crimea in the list of the detainees to be exchanged on the “all-for-all” basis, Morozova said.
“The Package of Measures concerns what is happening in Donbass only; events in Crimea or detainees in the Russian territory have nothing to do with the conflict in the region,” she said.
“We can view it either as blackmail or another pretext to avoid the long-expected (prisoner) exchange,” said the ombudswoman representing DPR in the humanitarian subgroup.
On Wednesday, the Belarussian capital hosted another round of Donbass peace tasks. After the meeting, Morozova said Ukraine had disrupted the prisoner exchange discussion in yet another demonstration of its unwillingness to fulfil its commitments. The Donbass representatives had to leave the working group’s session.*jk
