Donetsk, Apr 12 – DAN. Russian officers in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) arranged a ceasefire to allow repair teams to fix power transmission lines outside Donetsk, damaged by Ukrainian shelling, said DPR Operations Command.

"Today the Russian side in the JCCC managed to receive guarantees from the Ukraine to observe ceasefire in the vicinity of Elenovka south-west of Donetsk, where PTLs were damaged by Ukrainian shelling."

Repair teams have already embarked on their work, after engineers searched the area for mines.

In the night of April 10-11 Ukrainain forces shelled Dokuchaevsk leaving 400 households in the town and in Elenovka without power. Previous attempts to fix power supply were hampered by Ukrainian fire. *ot
