Donetsk, Jun 23 — DAN. The “Single Customer in the Field of Construction” has commissioned four kindergartens in Mariupol on Friday, the press service of the state-owned company told the Donetsk News Agency.
“In total, more than 800 children will attend the rebuilt pre-school education centers, ” the press service said. Specialists fully repaired the structural damage, replaced roofs and windows, renovated the frontages, did quality fit-out and installed new utility lines and systems. At present, the “Single Customer” is developing the premises of the facilities before putting them back into service.
The press service said that repairs have also been completed on a war-damaged secondary school for 1,100 children which now has sport courts and playgrounds.
The rebuilding projects meet all the modern requirements and safety rules. Aside from renovation, specialists are modernizing the fire-alarm and access control systems, the company said.
“The Single Customer” is currently running repairs on more than 90 education centers in Mariupol.
The Donetsk News Agency reported earlier this month that the “Single Customer” had restored 12 schools and kindergarten for 6,500 Mariupol children. The company reported back then that it had completed insulation works at ten schools and that it would restore another 16 children’s education facilities by the end of this month.*jk
