Donetsk, May 11 - DAN. Top officials, senators, MPs from Russia and the EU arrived in Donetsk to attend the Victory Day celebrations, the DPR Foreign Ministry said.
"The South Ossetia delegation was led by the president Anatoly Bibilov, Abkhazia's officials were headed by the Republic's vice-president Vitaly Gabnia; Russian delegation included a Federation Council member from the Samara region and the Republic of Crimea Sergey Mamedov and Olga Kovitidi, state Duma deputy Kazbek Taisaev, first deputy chairman of the North Ossetia-Alania Parliament of the sixth term Alexander Totoonov; LPR delegation was led by the chairman of the Council of Ministers Sergey Kozlov."
According to the Foreign Ministry, heads of DPR representative offices in Europe arrived as well, among them Eliseo Bertolasi, Maurizio Marrone, Gérald-Hubert Fayard, Johan Bäckman. The mayor of a French town of Marignane Éric Le Dissès, Gunnar Lindemann of the Berlin's parliament, honorary senator and the Flemish Parliament member from Belgium Frank Kreyelman joined them in Donetsk.

As it was reported earlier, representatives of 12 countries are to be present in the DPR on the Day of the Republic.
The Republic's Day is celebrated on May 11, the day when the referendum on the DPR independence took place in 2014. Dozens of events have been organized across the Republic to celebrate it, including a solemn march long the Donetsk main street and a big concert at the Olimpiyskiy stadium. *ot
