Donetsk, Jul 16 – DAN. Law enforcement members have arrived to the site of gas pipe explosion in Donetsk, the area has been cordoned off, DAN correspondent says.
No one is allowed inside the perimeter. Traffic has been diverted from the Krasnooktyabrskaya street, adjacent to the affected gas pipe.
Almost 50 firefighters and 10 pieces of equipment were involved in containing the fire tackling the blast aftermath. As of 6 p.m. the fire has been put out.
Witnesses said that they heard a hissing sound shortly before the blast.
The pipe exploded at 2.30 p.m. close to the Mushketovo railways station. *ot
