Donetsk, May 28 - DAN. Non-cash payments for goods and services with bank cards issued by the Donetsk People’s Republic Central Bank have exceeded 183 million rubles since the beginning of this year, the regulator’s press service told the Donetsk News Agency.
“DPR residents have made cashless payments for goods and service with bank cards worth 183.4 million rubles in January through April, a nearly two-fold increase year-on-year,” the Central Bank said.
Non-cash payments for goods purchased in the Republic are effected through POS terminals. The Bank test-launched the payment card system in mid-June 2015 as it began to tune ATMs, payment terminals and other banking equipment.*jk
