Donetsk, Sep 17 - DAN. The Yelenovka crossing point on the contact line south of Donetsk will reopen on September 18, the Donetsk People’s Republic COVID-19 crisis headquarters reported on Thursday.
“The Yelenovka crossing point will operate for entry and exit on Friday, September 18, from 9:00 to 18:00,” the report said.
To enter the Republic, visitors have to obtain a permit from the COVID-19 crisis headquarters; residence registration in Ukraine is required to exit the DPR.
The new arrivals have to fill out a consent form for examination at a medical centre. They can opt to pay for a COVID-19 rapid test at the crossing point.
If the test result is negative, the visitor has to agree to self-isolation at their place of stay. If they test positive, they are sent to hospital for further examination.
The Yelenovka crossing point reopens twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.*jk
