Donetsk, Jun 12 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic parliament committee on industry and trade met in the Republic’s capital on Tuesday to review the legal aspects of standardisation and technical regulation.
The meeting was attended by DPR parliament speaker Vladimir Bidyovka, committee chairman Sergey Chuchin, Donetsk Standardisation, Metrology and Certification Research and Production Centre director general Yelena Matviyenko, ministry officials and company representatives.
Addressing the deputies, Matviyenko called for creating legislative groundwork for the state standard system with the standard compliance principle as the cornerstone.
Chuchin said the draft standardisation law would be based on effective Russian legislation.
The DPR has been implementing the voluntary certification project “Donbass Standard” since 2017. Earlier reports said 118 certificates of quality had been issued to DPR producers.*jk
