Donetsk, Jul 14 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic resort settlements on the shore of the Sea of Azov will open to holiday-makers starting July 15; the DPR is lifting restrictions on entering the Novoazovskiy district which has been under COVID-19 lockdown, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said on Tuesday.
“I understand the importance of health improvement in the summer both for children and adults,” Pushilin said. “The inter-departmental operations headquarters worked through all issues concerning the arrangements for safe recreation.”
“The restrictions on entering the DPR’s Novoazovskiy district will be lifted on July 15. Everybody's welcome to come to resort settlements on the shore of the Sea of Azov," he said.
Pushilin said that necessary measures had been taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection: holiday centres had met sanitary and epidemiological requirements, the natural persons who provide accommodation services to holiday makers have been registered, etc.
“Also, it was possible to open the holiday season thanks to the teamwork of the medics who keep the coronavirus situation in the DPR under full control,” the DPR leader said.
The restrictions on entering the Novoazovskiy district have been in effect since April 27.*jk
