DPR state mines produce 42 mln tons of coal

Donetsk, Aug 23 – DAN. The DPR state coal mines have produced 42 mln tons of coal since 2014, the Ministry of Coal and Energy said.

"Coal mining enterprises managed by the Ministry have produced approximately 42 mln tons of coal in five years. "

Over these years, 46 new coal faces have been launched.
The coal mining state sector comprises 18 major enterprises producing Anthracite, Fat, Lean and Coking coal ypes.

It employs 38,000 people. The largest enterprises are Torezantratsit and Makeyevugol.
DPR coalmining enterprises have produced 4.9 mln tons of coal in January-July 2019. In July, the total of 783,983 tons have been produced. Komsomolets Donbassa, Torezantratsit and Makeyevugol made the most significant contributions.*ot
