Donetsk, Aug 10 - DAN. School uniforms in the Donetsk People’s Republic will be mandatory starting from the academic year 2019-2020, DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko said on Friday.
“We considered a programme with the education minister (Yevgeny Gorokhov - eds Donetsk News Agency) which will enable the government to partially cover school uniforms costs for the first time,” Zakharchenko said. “Mandatory uniforms will be introduced the next school year.”
Earlier reports said DPR-manufactured uniforms had already been supplied to the first 12 schools and lyceums in the Republic.*jk
