Donetsk, Jul 28 – DAN. DPR residents who have been vaccinated will receive a confirmation document with a QR-code, the Health Ministry said.
"The Ministry has developed a unified register of vaccinated persons that contains data on those who has been inoculated."
The database will also be used to issue a document on vaccination recognized in Russia.
Russian Sputnik Light vaccine has been shipped to the DPR, the Health Ministry announced earlier on Wednesday.
Sputnik Light is a single dose COVID-19 vaccine developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology. It consists of the first dose of the Sputnik V vaccine, which is based on the Ad26 vector.
The single dose Sputnik Light vaccine demonstrated 79.4% efficacy according to analyzed data taken from 28 days after the injection was administered as part of Russia’s mass vaccination program between 5 December 2020 and 15 April 2021.
As of May 5, 2021, more than 20 million people globally have received their first shot of Sputnik V. *ot
