Donetsk, Nov 6 - DAN. The overall indemnity paid to Donetsk People’s Republic residents who suffered workplace injuries has exceeded 1.265 billion rubles since the beginning of this year, the DPR Labour and Social Policy Ministry press service told the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“The total sum of compensations paid to occupational accident victims over the first ten months of 2018 made up 1,265.1 million rubles,” the Ministry said.
Every month, some 38,000 people receive insurance benefits to the tune of 128 million rubles.
The employer pays redress to employees against the redress claim to compensate harm to their health caused by injuries or occupational illness such as degenerative disk disease or vibration disease in miners. The payments are effected at DPR Central Bank offices and state-owned company Donbass Post outlets.*jk
