Donetsk, Aug 26 – DAN. DPR has registered 36 new cases of COVID-19 as the total number of confirmed cases climbed to 2,400, the Ministry of Health said.
“The Ministry of Health reports that tests revealed 36 cases of COVID-19 in the DPR on August 25.”
One of the patients arrived from Russia; the rest had contacts with previously infected. Five patients died.
Overall, 1,185 patients recovered, 135 died.
On March 14, the DPR went on high alert in connection with the threat of the coronavirus infection spread.
As of August 26, 1,670 new patients were registered in Ukraine bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 110,085, while 2,354 died.*ot
