Donetsk, May 20 - DAN. Three hundred and thirty-one new COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.
“DPR medics carried out 778 tests on March 19; 239 people tested positive (30.7 percent) and another 92 showed clinical and epidemiological signs of COVID-19,” the report said. Ninety patients have been de-registered after full recovery and 20 have died since Wednesday. Nine rapid tests have shown four reinfections.
The DPR currently has 36,481 confirmed COVID-19 cases; 30,206 patients recovered, 3,556 continue treatment and 2,719 died, according to the latest reports. The Republic has been vaccinating the population with the Russian vaccine Sputnik V since February 1.*jk
