Donetsk, Jun 17 - DAN. The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Donetsk People’s Republic increased by 230 over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.
“DPR medics have carried out 660 tests since Wednesday; 186 people tested positive and another 44 showed clinical and epidemiological signs of COVID-19,” the report said.
The Ministry urged residents to take the key precautions such as social distancing, hand hygiene, wearing a face mask in public places and avoiding crowds.
A total of 41,324 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the DPR since the beginning of the pandemic; 34,847 patients recovered, 3,338 continue treatment and 3,139 died, according to the latest reports.*jk
