Donetsk, Apr 29 - DAN. Two hundred and twenty-six new COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.
“DPR medics carried out 501 tests on April 28; 189 people tested positive and another 28 showed clinical and epidemiological signs of COVID-19,” the report said. One hundred and fourteen patients have recovered and 14 have died since Wednesday.
The DPR currently has 33,116 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 26,437 patients recovered, 4,613 people continue in- or outpatient treatment and 2,516 died, according to the latest reports.
Nineteen reinfections have been recorded in 27 rapid tests over the designated period.*jk
