Donetsk, Jun 3 - DAN. One hundred and seventy-eight new COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.
“DPR medics have carried out 605 tests since Wednesday; 130 people tested positive and another 48 showed clinical and epidemiological signs of COVID-19,” the report said.
One hundred and fifty-five patients have been deregistered after recovery and 15 have died over the designated period. Rapid tests have shown 59 reinfections which brings the number of such cases to 1,840 since March 18, 2021.
The DPR currently has 39,408 confirmed COVID-19 cases; 31,848 people recovered, 4,580 continue treatment and 2,980 died, according to the latest reports.*jk
