Donetsk, Dec 13 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic is ready to pass to Kiev some 40 convicts in January who will serve their sentences in Ukrainian penitentiaries, DPR ombudswoman Darya Morozova told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“Today, we met with the Ukrainian representative as we were passing the inmates,” Morozova said. “We are ready to continue cooperation and pass some 40 inmates in a month.”
Earlier reports on Thursday said that the DPR had handed over 13 inmates to Kiev at the Elenovka checkpoint south of Donetsk for transfer to Ukrainian prisons.*jk
