Donetsk, Oct 11 - DAN. Activists of the Public Headquarters for Frontline Districts of the Donetsk People’s Republic have delivered some 40 tons of humanitarian aid to more than 3,500 DPR families since last winter, Headquarters chief, DPR People’s Council deputy Yekaterina Martyanova said at a press briefing at the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.

“More than 3,500 families in the frontline zone have received relief supplies since the beginning of the Headquarters’ operation,” Martyanova said. “Some 40 tons of foodstuffs, medications, clothes, detergents, baby food, books, building implements and construction materials, as well as toys were delivered to settlements on the contact line.”

She said that medical supplies had been provided to some 400 needy residents of frontline areas. The Public Headquarters is assisted by personnel of receivership and state-owned companies.

The Public Headquarters for Frontline Districts (the areas worst hit in the armed aggression) was set up in December 2017.*jk
