Donetsk, May 11 – DAN. Chairman of the DPR People's Council Vladimir Bidyevka has congratulated the country's residents on the Republic's Day.
"Six years ago all the Donbass took to the Referendum on state self-determination. We all said "Yes" as one. We voted for freedom, independence and justice, we said "Yes" to Russia," he said.
Bidyevka said that DPR since has grew stronger and stabilized its economy, reveled itself as a strong country.
"The most important is that we became closer to Russia, and we are steadily following the way to the restoration of historical justice."
He said that the Republic had become a part of the Russian World.
The Republic’s Day is celebrated on May 11, the day when the referendum on the DPR independence took place in 2014. *ot
