Donetsk, Sep 28 – DAN. Ukraine has not shown goodwill in liberating hostages over two and a half years of conflict in Donbass, DPR ombudswoman said today.
"DPR Head Alexander Zhakharchenko has repeatedly shown goodwill unilaterally releasing Ukrainian detainees and giving them back to their mothers. In two years we have not seen reciprocal moves of Ukraine’s authorities," said Commissioner for Human Rights Daria Morozova in her statement.
She emphasized that in spite of Kiev's stated eagerness to exchange prisoners on an "all for all" principle there is still no official approval for the procedure, as Ukraine doesn’t seem to be interested in finding compromises.
"Their exchange rhetoric, without official proposals furnished, is just a limelight-seeking attempt, it is the only thing Ukraine reps to Minsk negotiations are capable of," she added.
