Donetsk, Jan 25 – DAN. DPR Ombudswoman Daria Morozova has had a meeting with the head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Fiona Frazer to discuss the handover of prisoners to Ukraine.
"Today, a work meeting of DPR Ombudswoman Daria Morozova and the head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Fiona Frazer took place," Morozova's press service said.
Frazer is reported to have welcomed the handover of prisoners convicted before 2014 from Donetsk to Kiev. The latest transfer took place in December 2018. Frazer said the process should be continued.
A new acting head of the Donetsk office of the UN mission Dina Mytka was introduced during the meeting as well.
Earlier Morozova met the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross Mission in Ukraine Alain Aeschlimann. *ot
