Donetsk, Mar 5 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Construction and Housing and Public Utilities Ministry plans to launch 24-hour water supply for residents of Snezhnoye and Shakhtyorsk in the east of the Republic later this year, an official told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“The investment programmes for this year envisions the construction of water supply lines and pumping station in the town of Snezhnoye and the Shakhyorsk district,” DPR Construction and Housing and Public Utilities Minister Sergey Naumets said. “If this programme is approved, we’ll implement it to launch round-the-clock water supply to settlements.”
Design specifications and cost estimates to build some 11 kilometres of water pipes and a water pumping station are ready, he added.
Earlier reports said that the Construction and Housing and Public Utilities Ministry launched the project to provide 24-hour water supply to all DPR settlements.*jk
