Donetsk, Jul 23 - DAN. Twenty-five new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, DPR medics have diagnosed coronavirus infection in 25 people; two of them arrived from Ukraine on July 17,” the report said.

The people who tested positive had had contacts with the infected. The patients’ condition is satisfactory; they are receiving necessary treatment, the DPR Healthcare Ministry said. Fifteen people have recovered from the coronavirus infection since Wednesday.

As of Tuesday morning, the Republic had 1,575 confirmed COVID-19 cases; 740 people have recovered, 742 are undergoing treatment and 93 have died, according to the DPR Healthcare Ministry.

Ukraine reported 856 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours. In Ukraine, 61,851 people have tested positive for coronavirus infection and 1,551 have died since the beginning of the pandemic.*jk*pp
